Ravensdown is a friendly guest house, with easy access to the city and Leith, with beautiful views of the city skyline, Arthur's seat and the beautiful castle. Ravensdown is a beautiful Edwardian house which was built in the early 1900's, and David and Yoka your hosts are continually working to restore and refurbish the house, adding a contemporary touch and style to the house.
Ravensdown guest house has seven spacious guest bedrooms. The front bedrooms of Ravensdown offer guests fantastic panoramic views of the city including Carlton Hill, Goldenacre and Edinburgh Castle.
All bedrooms offered are en suite ranging from single, double, king, twin, triple (3 single beds) and family rooms all with large comfortable beds, most are 2 metre long beds without footboards for our taller guests. All bedrooms have an LCD TV, alarm clocks and a docking station along with tea and coffee making facilities. Irons and hairdryers are available on request and wireless internet is available in all rooms.
Breakfast is very relaxed at Ravensdown and a range of breakfasts are available, including a continental buffet: juice, cereals, fruit, bread, cheese and yoghurt, as well as a traditional Scottish breakfast; eggs, sausages, smoked bacon, tomato, and mushrooms, and a vegetarian breakfast is also available; with vegetarian sausages or even a simple but fantastically scrumptious bowl of porridge. If you or any of your party has any dietary requirements, please advise in advance so that your requirements can be accommodated.
Ravensdown guest house is situated close to the lively pubs, bars and restaurants of Broughton and Canonmills, as well as only being 5 minutes walk from the beautiful botanic garden.
