42 Inverleith Row
The Georgian ‘New Town’ area of Edinburgh occupies the northern part of the city and quite aside from the stunning architecture, squares and streets, it is an area with much to recommend it to visitors.
It is the site too for the Royal Botanic Gardens, an extensive high point amongst the green spaces of the city and close by is Ashlyn Guest House, itself a listed historic building which retains much of that classic Georgian elegance inside and out.
Historic though the location and accommodations are, all the contemporary comforts are in place for any length of stay in Scotland’s capital. There are single, double, twin and family rooms available, either with private or en suite facilities.
All rooms are individually decorated but have features in common such as seating areas, TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities. For rooms with private bathrooms outside the room, fresh bathrobes are provided.
