Ashcroft Farmhouse offers a good mix of quality accommodation in a tranquil countryside environment yet close to attractions of the big city. Edinburgh is 10 miles away, and easily reached by car, train, or bus which stops right outside (a 30 minute journey).

This is the heart of Scotland with many interesting towns and cities nearby. Stirling, Glasgow, and the shopping malls of Livingston are only a short distance away. Golfers will be particularly impressed with the number and variety of golf clubs in the area, the closest of which is the Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club. For those wishing to explore the area, a Park and Ride facility is located only 4 miles away with bus services every 5 minutes.

All six bedrooms at Ashcroft have been recently renovated. Accommodations include two family rooms (4 and 3), three twins and a double with a Four Poster Bed.
All have ensuite facilities, tea and coffee making, LCD flatscreen TVs and a DVD film library for guests. Free Wi-fi internet access is available from all rooms.
Ashcroft is rated 5 star by the AA. High praise indeed, which is reflected in their guestbook.

The tariff is £35 – £40 per person per night inclusive of Full Scottish Breakfast. Please note that Ashcroft does not cater to children under 12 years old. 12-15 years sharing a family room are charged at £20 per night. There is no surcharge for credit card payments.
