Ard-na-said Guest House is a beautiful, centrally located Edinburgh bed and breakfast offering a friendly welcome and home comforts which ensure a comfortable stay. This enchanting detached house has five featured bedrooms, all named after Scottish icons. The flagship room is named after the great William Wallace.
It is spacious and striking and boasts a king size four poster and a large bay window that illuminates the room with natural light. There is a traditional plaster ceiling and high skirting boards that are complimented with contemporary furnishings.
Rankin room, named after the local crime writer is a spacious room on the ground floor with access to a garden patio and can be used as a Kingsize or Twin bedroom.
There are also another 2 rooms on the ground floor a double room or single room. Both the Burns room named after the famous Scottish poet and the Scott room after Sir Walter and are poetry themselves. Tastefully decorated with lavish fabrics and furniture, these rooms can be adapted from king size doubles to twin rooms with ease.
The Stevenson room, commemorating the author Robert Louis is a triple room with a double and a single bed.
All these rooms have exquisitely modern en suites that are the height of luxury. There are wall-mounted televisions with DVD players, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities. These rooms are a touching tribute to Scottish culture and remind us of all the city has to offer.

The imposing Edinburgh Castle, ever watchful over this amazing city, Holyrood Palace, that once housed Mary Queen of Scots, Scotland's New Parliament, Hillend Ski Slopes, Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh and the Royal Yacht Britannia are to name but a few.
There are also many restaurants within walking distance from Ard-na-said or if you prefer, there is a bus service just 100m away which will take you straight to Princes Street which is just ½ a mile away.
